One man, Rich Little, known for his spot-on celebrity impressions, thrilled the audience during an appearance on The Carol Burnett Show.
Imitation is said to be the sincerest form of flattery. Who doesnt want to try and replicate the actions and words of someone they admire? In that case, it probably would be the highest compliment that someone could give another.
However, there are other instances when that may not be the case. Instead, recreating someones mannerisms and words can and do provide a fair amount of laughs, especially when they come from a talented performer like Rich Little.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Rich Little, after being introduced by Carol Burnett, does several laugh-out-loud and dead-on impressions of well-known celebrities and politicians. Rich quickly has the entire studio audience roaring with laughter.
He does the impressions as celebrities pitching products they would likely never have used, adding even more hilarity to his already uproarious act. Included in the segment are Dean Martin pushing a product that removes stains and John Wayne doing a commercial for girdles.
Presidents Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon and Nixons Vice President Spiro Agnew also make appearances in Richs hilarious act. Lyndon Johnson tried to sell audiences on vitamins, Spiro Agnew pushed a specific kind of golf ball and Nixon implored people to pick up stockings.
Rich, in the short clip, shows he is an incredibly talented and versatile performer. In a matter of seconds, he goes from being Dean Martin, John Wayne, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon.
He has all their voices and mannerisms down cold. Without telling the audience, everyone would have known who he was imitating. His impressions are also spot-on and hilarious without being mean and hateful. They are done to entertain, not to push an agenda or point of view.

The Carol Burnett Show is a classic American television program. The show has kept people laughing for decades. The program's zany, unpredictable sketches and legendary, comically gifted cast are unlikely to ever be matched. The laughs were never few or far between during The Carol Burnett Show.
Tim Conway was one of those on the show who consistently had the studio audience and those watching at home roaring with laughter. A lot of times Tims comedic timing and memorable characters even had his fellow castmates unable to contain their laughter.
A clip posted on YouTube shows the many times when Tim assumed animal characters on the show. The clip begins with Carol introducing Tim and explaining his surprising regularity when it comes to playing members of the animal community.
It's only seconds into the clip, and Tim has the studio audience in hysterics. While portraying a cow being milked for the first time, Tims facial expressions are enough to get the laughs going.
Next up, Tim takes on the mannerisms of a cat. Harvey Korman, who appears in the sketch with Tim, only gets through a few lines before hes having to conceal laughter. Tims feline character eventually snatches a dangling watch, much to the amusement of Harvey.
Then, in a get-up that makes Tim look like Bugs Buggy, he takes the witness stand in a courtroom. His antics in court thoroughly annoy the attorney questioning him, but he has the studio audience, once again, in stitches.
Next, as a dog, Tim breaks Harvey up once again. This time, he doesnt even try to conceal it because doing so would have been absolutely useless.
Its amazing that anyone was able to get through an entire sketch with Tim Conway without absolutely bursting into laughter and breaking character. He was so incredibly talented that often all it took was a look from Tim to cause extreme and uncontrolled laughter.

Another maddening and similar phrase, according to Don, is You know what Im saying?
And theres You know what Im saying? You know what Im saying? Have I stopped you at any point along this conversation, and said to you, I really am confused about what it is youre saying? Could you please reword it some other way so maybe I get the gist?
Don mentions another phrase he has an issue with: more than fair. To help illustrate his point, Don points out a hilarious scenario with his mechanic.
My mechanic has a great expression: More than fair, he said. If I argue about a bill with him, hell say, We charge you a price we think is more than fair. What does that mean? He figured out what was fair and charged me more.
Later in the laugh-out-loud clip, Don mentions hilarious issues he has with the news, the type of mattress he wants and problems he has experienced while getting older.

Laughing out loud. Tim Conway fails to open a childproof bottle in a hilarious Carol Burnett Show clip. When it comes to opening prescription bottles, the struggle is real. It doesnt matter if youre 25 or 95. It seems like the bottles are not only child-proof but adult-proof.
The Carol Burnett Show opted to create a skit highlighting the pains of trying to open a prescription bottle. In this skit, Tim wrestles a childproof bottle as they introduce him as Tim The President of Vortex Industries, Mr. Lloyd Adams.
Tim is serious and professional as he sits behind a desk dressed up in a suit and sporting a neatly shaved mustache. He greets the people and then proceeds in a bland voice to reveal his company took the matter of child-proof bottles seriously and had a team of engineers design the safest prescription bottle possible.
The only problem is when he attempts to demonstrate the ease of opening the prescription bottle, he runs into a few technical difficulties. Tim tries multiple times and fails.
Then a stage worker sneaks behind the desk and tries to open it for him without being seen. He proceeds to grab Tims hand to bang it on the desk. When that doesnt work the first time, he tries again. But this time, he grabs Tims hand and bangs it on the desk. Next, the worker tries to open the bottle with steaming hot water, which unfortunately gets poured all over Tims lap as he attempts to maintain his serious composure.
Giving up, Tim hands the bottle to the worker, who retreats behind the scenes. A serious of explosions are heard when pieces of the office rain down on Tim. The final moment of the skit is hilarious. You dont want to miss it. This funny clip is relatable to the pains of prescription bottles. Ive often debated on using a power drill to open a few of mine.
