Never underestimate the power of your positive influence on the next generation when you share your stories about God. Even the simplest stories you tell younger people about God’s wonderful work in your life can help them learn and grow closer to God.
We’re a work in progress, and thank goodness, God’s growing us to be more like Jesus. We’re changing for the better. With Jesus deeply rooted in our hearts, we’re planted in the right spot. God will nourish, and we will surely flourish.
Choose to rest in God’s powerful love for you. Bring every fear that worries you to God in prayer. Remind yourself ofGod’s powerful promises to you. Keep trusting God to guide you through your battles one step at a time.
Every season has its own kind of beauty. Whether we lost something or someone dear to us or God stripped away the fears, self-reliance, or sin that held us back from embracing true life, every ending is made beautiful in His perfect time.
Other loves can so quickly steal our hearts away. And sometimes our greatest love is for ourselves. But Jesus said, “deny yourself” and take up your cross (associate with His death), and follow Him, not the desires of your own hearts.
While we have the light of Christ in our lives, there will be times when we experience seasons that feel very dark. If you are in one of those seasons, let me encourage you that it will not last forever.
If we don’t want others to be mean to us, unfollow us, or unfriend us, we don’t need to do those things to others. By filtering our actions and words through the Word of God, we will be able to truly shine brightly for Jesus.
Nothing can thwart God’s plan; if He calls us to something, He will certainly carry us through. Let us continue to work as unto the Lord and not human masters (1 Corinthians 15:58) and trust in God’s timing and plan.
Let me reassure you today: when you stay in communication with the one who made you to be unlike any other, you can feel good about living a life that looks like you.
If you aren’t experiencing spiritual encouragement and support from your natural family, it is waiting for you in your spiritual family—in the church, what Scripture calls the body (the human hands and feet) of Jesus.
Repentance isn’t a popular word in the Church today. Sure, we want revival, but when it comes to repenting for the sin in our lives, that’s another story because it means admitting that we sin.
If you are continuing to walk in darkness, is it because you feel ashamed? If so, how can you bring these feelings to God and experience peace? God will forgive everyone who turns to Him and asks for forgiveness. What is holding you back?
