Our actions should not only benefit us but also contribute to the growth and well-being of others. We are called to be responsible stewards of our freedom, ensuring that what we do builds up good results.
But if we keep hoping, based not on what we see with our eyes, but on the faithfulness of the Lord in our past–the ways he has sustained us over and over, we will see the Lord be faithful again. And we will have a new part of our story to tell about the goodness of God.
God covets the role of bringing justice. When it’s all said and done only God has the power to judge the hearts of men. We can surrender our right to judge because we know only one is wise enough to do that job for humanity.
