Choir Performs Soul-Stirring Rendition Of ‘Shall We Gather At The River’

A group of immensely talented vocalists turned in an awe-inspiring and moving performance of the beloved hymn “Shall We Gather at the River?”

Life is often not an easy or fair experience. It was never promised to be that way. In fact, Jesus, in the New Testament book of John, stated that it would be the exact opposite for those who love and follow Him. People, especially true believers and followers of Christ’s teachings, would be hated by the world, Jesus said.

However, Christ also promises those who love, follow and profess with their mouth and believe in their heart that He is Lord would experience everlasting life with Him. Something much greater than anything that this world has to offer awaits Christians.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of musicians sings a tune about what Christians have to look forward to. They make mention of walking where angels have previously stepped and standing near a crystal-clear river that passes by the throne of the Prince of Peace and the Everlasting Father.

“Shall we gather at the river
Where bright angel feet have trod
With its crystal tide forever
Flowing by the throne of God?”

It’s quite simply a dazzling vocal performance, with a handful of musicians who put their musical talent on full display. Their voices fit perfectly together as they belt out the lovely lyrics about the future and the river that awaits the followers of Christ Jesus.

Not only do they expertly and beautifully belt out the lyrics, but the musical arrangement is fantastic. Even those not typically fans of classical music will appreciate the skill and talent involved. It’s a lovely and captivating rendition that is easily worth more than a handful of listens.

Well done to all the musicians who helped pull off this dazzling cover!

John 15:18 “If you are hated by the world, keep in mind that I was hated by the world before you.”

Ray Stevens ‘If Jesus Is A Stranger (Check Your Circle Of Friends)’ On Larry’s Country Diner

Legendary entertainer Ray Stevens stopped by Larry’s Country Diner and turned in an inspired and upbeat performance of "If Jesus is a Stranger (Check your Circle of Friends).”

In a chaotic world of uncertainty, hurt and heartache, friends are valuable. Those people can and will become individuals to lean on and depend upon when life becomes overwhelming and unbearable. They will be a shoulder to cry on during times of pain and sorrow. But thankfully, there is One who sticks closer than a friend who never leaves nor forsakes us during our time of need.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Ray Stevens sings about the need to embark on a friendship with Jesus Christ. He also warns that if you aren’t already acquainted with the Savior of the world, you desperately need to reexamine your life and friendships.

“I ain’t no saint,
But I know I’ve seen the light
And I’m giving you warning in a friendly sort of way
That He will be coming back someday”

The rest of the song is a warning to those who don’t know Jesus Christ. He also states that for those who may have strayed from the straight and narrow path, there is still time to change their ways and turn back to the Lord.

Ray, about halfway through the clip, belts out likely the most important line of his truth-filled song. One day, all will face judgment and answer for their lives on Earth. On that day, Ray sings, who you know and who your friends are will not matter unless you know Him.

Christ’s love, grace and forgiveness are gifts for all who call upon His name.

Why wait? Today is the perfect day to start a friendship, a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9 “Because, if you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and have faith in your heart that God has made him come back from the dead, you will have salvation.”

Elvis Presley’s Soulful Performance ‘If The Lord Wasn’t Walking By My Side’

The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, turned in a delightful and soulful performance of “If the Lord Wasn’t Walking by My Side.”

The world is full of lost, broken and struggling people. Most are looking for even the tiniest sign of hope that things will be better. Those individuals often deal with and carry burdens and worries too much to shoulder. Luckily, there is One who provides hope, comfort and a peace that surpasses all understanding.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Elvis sings a catchy and upbeat tune about how much the Lord cares, guides and provides daily. All would be lost without His constant guidance and direction. Christ changes lives.

“He heard me praying (He heard me praying on my knees at night)
Now I’m singing (Now I’m singing this happy song)
Because I’m happy (because I’m happy as I go along)
And I don’t know (I don’t know) just what I’d do
If the Lord wasn’t walking by my side”

As the song’s lyrics mention, the Lord completely changes one’s life. Christ’s blood shed upon the cross covers and wipes away all sin. He has the extraordinary ability to make something beautiful out of destruction and wreckage. He can and does interject hope into a hopeless situation.

But the lyrics also indicate that accepting Christ and allowing Him to change one’s heart and life is only the first step. From that point forward, it’s a relationship and daily walk with Him. Through prayer and continual reading of His Word, an individual is drawn closer to God, learning more about Him and His will for their lives.

The Bible reads that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, He freely offers love and forgiveness for those sins. It’s a gift that will change your mind, heart and life.

Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Emily Ann Roberts Uplifting 'Keep On' Official Lyric Video

Emily Ann Roberts' song ‘Keep On’ in her official lyric video serves as a poignant reminder of the resilience ingrained in the human spirit, drawing strength from an unwavering faith in God.

The lyrics paint a vivid picture of life's challenges and adversities, acknowledging that tears fall, our hearts get wounded, and the world can often seem overwhelming. Yet, woven through the verses is a thread of hope, asserting that our purpose transcends the struggles we face.

With her beautiful country-style voice, Emily sings the main lyrics, "Keep on going, your wheels were made for rolling," which encourages perseverance in spite of the trials. The metaphor of wheels reminds us to keep moving forward and keep making progress, emphasizing that our journey is meant to continue, regardless of the bumps in the road.

She draws on the connection between the human experience and faith that is underscored by lines such as "Hands were made for reaching out" and "Love was made to give away." These expressions echo a deeper purpose beyond individual struggles—it’s a call to extend kindness and compassion to others, reflecting God's love.

Emily reminds us of the importance of taking each day as it comes and trusting that God has a plan. She reminds us with God at our side, we can take a patient and steadfast approach to life's challenges. Emily encourages her listeners that time has the power to heal wounds and that mistakes do not define one's worth. It gives us courage and freedom to see ourselves the way God sees us.

"Keep On" by Emily Ann Roberts serves as a musical anthem for those navigating the complexities of life. Through its uplifting melody and empowering lyrics, the song reinforces the belief that, with God at the helm, there is always a reason to press on. We hope this song becomes a source of solace and motivation, echoing the sentiment that as long as our hearts are beating, we have the strength to keep on going with Jesus as our refuge.
