Celtic Thunder's Stunning Rendition of 'L-O-V-E'

The immensely talented and incredibly popular group Celtic Thunder performed a stunning rendition of the classic tune “L-O-V-E.”

Songs have been written for nearly every occasion and on just about every topic imaginable. If you want to hear a song about motorcycles, deer, boats or some other random subject, there is bound to be a tune about that particular topic. When it comes to music, there is literally something for everyone.

However, one subject has kept singers and songwriters busy, likely since human beings started making sounds: love. Love songs litter the radio, Apple Music, Spotify and every other popular music streaming platform. You cannot get away from songs about love. They come in every genre, style and language.

In a video posted on social media, Celtic Thunder turned in a delightful and terribly enjoyable performance of one of the most beloved, classic love songs of all time. “L-O-V-E,” originally sung and recorded by the legendary Nat King Cole, has been performed and recorded by many notable musicians over the years, including Frank Sinatra and Natalie Cole, the daughter of Nat King Cole.

Like nearly everything else Celtic Thunder does, this performance is outstanding. While they are known primarily for playing Irish-sounding music, they can easily perform seemingly every kind of music.

At the end of the marvelous performance, the audience responds, rightfully so, with a deafening round of applause.

The entire song is simple yet so catchy and memorable. Many likely know the lyrics, including the iconic chorus, by heart.

“Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it, take my heart, and
Please don’t break it”

Without a doubt, Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E” is one of the best, most iconic love songs of all time. Not many other love songs have or will ever top this one.

Police Officer Wows with Ed Sheeran Song on America's Got Talent

A police officer wowed the judges, the studio audience and likely many at home with his beautiful rendition of an Ed Sheeran hit on America’s Got Talent.

America’s Got Talent, American Idol and The Voice are popular television programs. Those shows feature individuals who may have been overlooked or too shy or timid to pursue their dreams before. That is likely the reason why those shows continue to pull in massive audiences week after week.

Richmond, Virginia, police officer Mervin Mayo was among those who initially resisted trying out for America’s Got Talent. In his back-and-forth with the judges before his audition, he admits that his beautiful wife pushed him and gave him the confidence to take his musical talent to the America’s Got Talent stage.

Mervin says most of his performing experience was from singing karaoke before stepping onto the stage. But thanks to his wife, he decided to try out for the show, and it’s a good thing he did.

The police officer performed “Thinking Out Loud” by the incredibly talented Ed Sheeran. It was quite simply a delightful audition by an obviously very gifted singer. By the end of his stunning audition, almost everyone was on their feet applauding, including several of the show’s four judges.

When it came time for the judges to give him feedback on his audition, they showered him with compliments and praise. They loved everything about the police officer’s stunning performance. Simon Cowell even went so far as to describe Mervin’s audition as a “great moment.”

“You really do have a good voice, and everything you did was sincere,” Simon said. “I just think it was just a great moment, and I think people genuinely are going to like you.”

When the judges cast their votes, Mervin received four yes votes, which sent him to the next round of the competition.

8-Year-Old Prodigy Wows With Incredible Musical Skills

An 8-year-old young man is a musical prodigy; his incredible musical gifts and knowledge will leave you stunned.

Everyone has been blessed with a unique set of skills and abilities. Some may have gifts in several areas, while others may be naturally gifted in only a few things. Regardless of how many or few talents we may have, we are to use those God-given abilities to bring glory and honor to His name.

Also, some may be more apparent than others when it comes to those gifts. Some people might be naturally skilled speakers, musicians, athletes or actors. Those fields and areas are highly visible and likely to be praised and seen by others. No matter how or where we’ve been blessed, we all have a duty to use them in a way that would benefit and grow the Kingdom of God.

A clip posted on YouTube is about a young man, Miles Bonham. The best way to describe Miles is to call him a musical prodigy. He has demonstrated musical skills and knowledge that far exceed his young age.

The short, nearly four-minute clip begins with the young man playing the piano and singing lyrics that are likely familiar to many. But the music accompanying the tune may sound odd or unfamiliar. That’s because Miles has combined two well-known songs. As he explains, he knew that the mash-up would work perfectly.

“It’s because they have the same chord progression,” Miles says.

But the piano isn’t the only instrument he can play with shocking expertise. The clip states that Miles has mastered seven different instruments.

Miles also commonly combines songs and creates new tunes using a highly detailed and sophisticated musical computer program.

Who knows what this young musical prodigy will grow up and be able to do if he’s already wowing millions of people on social media with his talent at just eight years old!

Women's Choir Awe-Inspiring A Cappella 'Take It To The Limit' Cover

A women's choir turned in an awe-inspiring a cappella 'Take It to the Limit" cover.

The Eagles are one of history's most well-known, listened to and iconic bands. The group has been around for decades and has produced one classic song after another. Only a few bands can sell out entire stadiums and arenas decades after they first came onto the musical scene, and The Eagles have managed to do just that.

Even if you aren't the biggest Eagles fan, you likely still enjoy at least one, but probably several of their songs. There is 'Lyin' Eyes," "Love Will Keep Us Together," "Desperado," "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and many, many others. Their songs continue to be played heavily on the radio and heard in television shows and films.

Because their songs are so widely known and beloved, it makes plenty of sense why a cappella group would choose to perform one of their hits. In a clip posted on YouTube, the all-female group Parkside Melody beautifully performed "Take It to the Limit."

It's an extraordinary display of musical talent and one you'll want to listen to and watch it multiple times. Their vocal performances are calming, soothing and pleasant to the ear.

The song's chorus is memorable and iconic, like the tune and the band that created it.

"So, put me on a highway
And show me a sign
And take it to the limit one more time"

After Parkside Melody finishes its beautiful vocal performance, the audience watching the women sing erupts in applause. They give the ladies a well-deserved standing ovation, which gets quite loud as they show Parkside Melody their appreciation.

The band of instrumentalists is doing an incredible job. The quartet highlights a man named Kelly. He rocks out on an impressive guitar solo twice during the great performance.

Listening to this song will get you up and dancing along. It is so catchy and lively. It might even take you back to the 80s. The group appears to be truly enjoying singing and performing with one another. The audience goes wild after their song ends. It is a fun and energizing performance.

The original Oak Ridge Boys released the hit ‘Bobbie Sue’ in 1982. Some of the original members are still in this current performance. It is really encouraging to see a band back together and truly enjoying the music that they created years ago.

Nostalgia can be a wonderful thing. We can cherish memories and music from the past and remember the happiness and excitement that they brought us then and bring us now. Keifer Sutherland Moving Musical Tribute to Late Father Donald Sutherland

If you want to see a sweet musical nod from a son to a father, you’ll definitely want to watch this video. View Keifer Sutherland's moving musical tribute to his late father, Donald Sutherland.

Keifer shares about how his dad passed away a week before. He tells about how he is grieving by playing music with the audience. He says that he wrote this song for a friend, but he has been playing it some nights on this current tour as a tribute to his father. This raw performance is a sweet moment of a son’s grief, love, and desire to see his father again. You can hear him choke back his tears during the chorus.

Kiefer’s song about his friend works beautifully as a tribute to his own dad. He talks about it not being a true goodbye because he will see him again. This intimate moment reveals that Kiefer does not believe in heaven, he sings, “I can’t say for sure where you are going.” This song reminds us that in Jesus we have the confident hope of heaven with our Savior. Even though the world has questions about death and does not know what happens after death, we do. We can share the hope of the gospel with others as they face the question of what happens after death.

God has given us the answer to life after death in Jesus. The sadness and pain that Kiefer is experiencing is still felt by believers in Christ during loss, however, we can hold on with confidence to the faith that we have in Jesus in the midst of the trials and circumstances we face.

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;” John 11:25

Gardiner Brothers Deliver Epic Dance Routine in Front of the White House

The super-talented Gardiner Brothers delivered an epic and stunning dance routine in front of the White House.

Becoming good at anything requires investing a lot of blood, sweat and tears. Dance is no exception to that rule. Those who are able to move their legs and feet at a rapid-fire pace have likely spent hundreds, possibly thousands of hours perfecting and fine-tuning their craft.

That’s why it’s always captivating and pretty mind-blowing watching someone who is a skilled dancer. Throw other people into the mix, making it a highly choreographed and perfectly synchronized dance routine, and you’ll gain a large audience in no time. People appreciate talent wherever and whenever they see it.

The Gardiner Brothers – Mike and Matthew – are supremely talented and decorated dancers. Watching just a few seconds of any of their many videos where they dance in front of notable landmarks and structures makes that abundantly clear.

In their latest video, the guys dance in front of what is arguably the most famous residence in the world—1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, otherwise known as the White House. The guys coordinate their outfits to match their location. Both wear dark suits, ties and sunglasses—dressed very much like members of the Secret Service, the group charged with protecting the President of the United States.

Once again, Mike and Matthew’s dance routine is fantastic. They move their feet at a lightning-fast, rapid-fire pace. Watching their legs and feet move that quickly and perfectly synchronize is simply captivating.

Also, in addition to their outfits coordinating with their location, they incorporate some moves that perfectly fit a Secret Service agent at the White House. At different times throughout the short clip, the guys will place a finger to their ear as if receiving a message from a co-worker or a superior.

These guys are spectacular, and watching their dance routines is always a joy!

Psalm 149:3 “Let them give praise to his name in the dance: let them make melody to him with instruments of brass and corded instruments of music.”

Beautiful Medley Of Dolly Parton's Biggest Hits

A group of incredibly talented musicians put together and performed a beautiful medley of Dolly Parton’s biggest hits.

Dolly Parton is a legendary, multi-talented entertainer. Over the years, she has produced dozens of iconic and classic songs, like “Coat of Many Colors, " “9 to 5,” and “Jolene.” But she is not only a musician but also an actress. She has appeared in several roles on television and the big screen.

Even in her late 70s, Dolly remains a force. She continues to produce music, perform live and be quite active on social media. She has mentioned that she has no plans to retire and will continue performing for as long as possible.

Despite all her television and film work, Dolly is best known for her music. In a clip posted on YouTube, one woman, Demi Lee Moore, beautifully performs a handful of Dolly’s most memorable songs. Demi has been blessed with a gorgeous singing voice, making this performance of Dolly’s biggest hits a must-watch for any and every Dolly Parton fan.

The clip begins with Demi singing Dolly’s 1971 classic about her mother and her life growing up poor as a child in Tennessee, “Coat of Many Colors.” After that touching and moving performance, Demi and the band pick things up a tad, moving right into the upbeat and super catchy “9 to 5.”

“9 to 5” has to have one of the catchiest and toe-tapping choruses of all time.

“Workin’ 9 to 5, what a way to make a livin’
Barely getting’ by, it’s all talkin’ and no givin’
They just use your mind, and they never give you credit
It’s enough to drive you crazy if you let it”

But no performance of Dolly Parton’s timeless tunes would be complete without “Jolene.” Demi and the guys are sure to include the song that Rolling Stone recently named the greatest country song of all time.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

The Late Joe Bonsall’s Unforgettable Moments on Larry’s Country Diner

Joe Bonsall, a longtime member of The Oak Ridge Boys who recently passed away, had many unforgettable moments performing with the legendary group on Larry’s Country Diner.

Sadly, and as ironic as it may sound, death is a part of life. It’s something that everyone on Earth will experience at one time or another. It doesn’t matter how rich, poor, famous or infamous you are; death waits for no man.

The best thing anyone can do is be prepared to meet that inevitable fate by forging a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ willingly went to the cross, suffering and dying in our place. He later rose from the grave, winning victory over sin, shame and death.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Joe and the guys gave several fantastic performances on the popular program. The video features Joe and the guys playing hits “Y'all Come Back Saloon,” “Life’s Railway to Heaven,” “I’d Rather Have Jesus,” and, of course, “Elvira.” The guys sound great in each appearance and show they still have it.

A statement on his website states that Joe Bonsall passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 76 due to complications from ALS. The statement goes on to mention several distinguished honors he received during his 50-year career as a member of The Oak Ridge Boys.

The statement mentions that Joe loved singing, reading and writing and was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team. However, according to the statement, Jesus and his family came before everything else.

“Jesus and his family always came first – and we will see him again on the Promised Day.”

Joe used his God-given musical talent to help make the world a little better place.

Our prayers are with Joe’s family as they deal with their loss and navigate through this painful period.

John 11:26 “And no one who is living and has faith in me will ever see death. Is this your faith?”
