BETTY BUCKLEY RETURNS TO JOE’S PUB FOR SIX PERFORMANCES APRIL 24-26, 2026 
NEW YORK —

Legendary Tony® Award–winning stage and screen actress Betty Buckley returns for her yearly, highly anticipated residency at Joe’s Pub for six intimate performances, April 24–26, 2026. An American treasure and beloved by her fans, Buckley offers audiences the chance to experience one of Broadway’s most celebrated voices in the uniquely close setting of Joe’s Pub, reaffirming her singular ability to command a room and captivate with every note.

The exclusive engagement reunites her with longtime collaborator, Grammy®-nominated pianist, arranger and music director Christian Jacob, Tony Marino on bass, Keita Ogawa on drums and percussion, and Jordan Peters on guitar. Show times are Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.), and Sunday, April 26 at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.) Joe’s Pub is located at The Public, 425 Lafayette Street. 

Buckley is also performing a concert at Mercyhurst University’s Institute of Arts and Culture at Walker Recital Hall (501 E 38th St, Erie, PA) on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. She will be accompanied by multi-Grammy-nominated arranger, Christian Jacob. An Artist in Residence at Mercyhurst, Buckley teaches a yearly workshop in their new Theater Department. ABOUT KATIE: Katie McAllister is a graduate of the University of Maryland and has been working in the teaching field for over 30 years in both the academic and arts and education forums. Katie began her work with Inside Broadway in the “Be the Artist” program at Donnell Library and joined the teaching artist staff of Inside Broadway shortly thereafter.

As Program Director for Inside Broadway, Katie has used her experience as a teacher as well as a performer to shape Inside Broadway’s Teaching Artist Residency Programs to reflect both the artistic and academic needs of students in schools today, developing programming for students of all abilities.

She has written the Study Buddies and Educator Lesson Plans for Inside Broadway’s productions of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Duke Ellington’s Sophisticated Ladies, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Smokey Joe’s Café, The Melody Lingers on... The Music of Irving Berlin and Richard Rodgers Broadway! For Simply Elementary she wrote the book, lyrics and study guide for the immigration musical Next Stop, America. Ms. McAllister is passionate about bringing arts services to students of all abilities and is the proud recipient of the 2007 Herbert Birch Friendship Award for excellence in Arts and Education for exceptional children.
