A Note from That KEVIN…
October 25, 2026
This week, That Passport Life takes us to three rather spectacular destinations: London, Italy, and The Skyline. Three different experiences, three compelling reasons to get out into the world, and three reminders that beauty, history, and adventure are always waiting just beyond our front doors.
If this week’s edition didn’t land in your inbox, you’re missing out! Subscribe for free at ThatKEVINShow.com and join us for the journey.
Now, indulge me for a moment. I need to climb onto my soapbox.
I truly disdain the week we’re about to enter.
First comes Halloween, unquestionably my least favorite “holiday.” Don’t misunderstand me. My kids have always loved trick-or-treating through our wonderfully bucolic, Leave It to Beaver-style neighborhood. The costumes, the neighbors, the candy, the excitement of childhood—those memories are precious.
But the rest of it? The movies, the “music,” the fascination with the occult, horror, dread, darkness, and death? No thank you.
The New Testament admonishes us to dwell on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and worthy of praise. I’ve never found Halloween particularly successful at meeting that standard.
And then, just three days later, comes Election Day.
Oh, the endless jawboning! Who turned out? Who stayed home? What does this precinct tell us about that demographic? What does it all mean for 2028?
Some of that matters, of course. And make no mistake: I believe there is an increasingly aggressive coalition of Islamist, Marxist, and anti-American political forces seeking to fundamentally transform this country before our very eyes. So voting isn’t optional. It’s a civic obligation.
But here’s the thing.
There is so much more to life than politics.
There are extraordinary places to discover, beautiful things to create, music to experience, meals to share, people to love, and a God whose goodness deserves far more of our attention than the latest political outrage.
That’s part of why That Passport Life matters so much to me.
So when we’ve navigated those two days, I’ll be especially happy to turn our attention back toward the things that make life rich.
Speaking of which, something genuinely wonderful is happening with The TEA Collective.
Several dozen churches have already requested our complete Yesterday The Same Worship Kit, and requests continue arriving.
Think about that for a moment. Thousands of believers potentially lifting their voices together, singing, “Jesus, You Are Worthy, Yesterday The Same.”
From contemporary worship bands to traditional choirs, from intimate piano arrangements to magnificent pipe organs, this anthem is finding its way into congregations. That’s profoundly satisfying to me.
And we aren’t charging a penny.
If you serve in worship ministry—or know someone who does—please visit ThatKEVINShow.com and request the complete kit. It’s our gift to the Church.
And speaking of gifts…
At midnight on November 1, something very special arrives!
The Christmas Edition of Yesterday The Same releases on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
This two-song release features a beautiful piano-and-strings arrangement with Alison Taylor’s extraordinary vocal, alongside something we’ve never done before: a fully orchestrated instrumental interpretation titled The Advent Star.
Both arrangements carry their own distinctive Christmas sparkle. Both celebrate the unchanging Christ. And both are our gift to you as the holiday season begins.
Finally, don’t forget to catch up with That KEVIN Show on television, enjoy our latest podcasts, and read my newest Townhall columns. You’ll find it all at ThatKEVINShow.com.
There’s a remarkable world out there, friends. Let’s spend more time appreciating it, exploring it, and thanking God for it.
Until next week, keep your passport handy, your curiosity alive, and your heart fixed on what matters most.
