Destination Spotlight - Daytona Beach, FL

Situated on the Atlantic side (or East side) of Florida, Daytona Beach is packed with a ton of beach, shopping, outdoor recreation, food and fun! Ponce DeLeon dropped by in 1515 in his search for the fountain of youth. Today, the entire Daytona Beach area entertains more than 10 million influential visitors each year! These visitors, who influence friends and family with their vacation stories, come from around the world to relax and enjoy the area's many treasures, both old and new.

Absolutely. Daytona Beach has grown out of its “rowdy Spring Break” reputation.Obviously the kids can play at the beach year round, learn to surf and rent bicycles. Wear them out by climbing the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, pet stingrays at Marine Science Center or go on a dolphin and manatee boat tour. Indoors, a visit to the Museum of Arts & Sciences is perfect. With a state-of-the-art planetarium and a children’s museum brimming with interactive exhibits, a rainy day can be fun and educational!
