Yet, God is not troubled by the news. He is on the move - providing the hope, the answers that we are all desperately searching for. He is forever faithful and true, "an ever present help in trouble," (Psalm 46:1), the Saviour for all of our todays and tomorrows!

How do we number our days and what does it mean by gaining a heart of wisdom? We live in troubled times but God showed us the example of the sons of Isaachar who had "understanding of the times and what Israel ought to do" (1 Chron 12:32). We too, need to emulate the fine example of these men who were part of David's army and whose strength lay in their brains not just in their brawn. We need to understand the times we are in and to know what to do with our lives. This is a heart of godly wisdom.
