Guitar Quartet Performs Stunning Rendition Of 'Fur Elise'

Check out this stunning rendition of ‘Fur Elise’ performed by a talented guitar quartet.

The performance was recorded live at the Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Italy. And the group putting on the amazing performance is called 40 Fingers.

“We are an acoustic guitar quartet with all of us coming from different musical backgrounds. Together we explore new sound galaxies in the name of fingerpicking combining it with our own style. We rearrange famous rock and pop songs,” reads the group’s bio on their YouTube page. “We share a passion for movies so we also enjoy arranging and playing some of our favorite films and TV series soundtracks. Live shows are our perfect dimension; we love to give you all our energies and emotions with no borders of languages and countries.”

This rendition of ‘Fur Elise’ by 40 Fingers is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Each guitar is played with perfect tone, and having the song played on acoustic guitars makes the composition feel even a little modern.

“I am never disappointed with 40 Fingers! Lovely rendition of this classic!! So beautiful!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“Well done you guys, you literally blow my mind with your music,” writes another person online.

The Bagatelle No. 25 in A Minor, WoO 59 (better known as Für Elise) has to be one of the most recognized tunes of classical music. And it is also one of the three most recognized melodies of Ludwig van Beethoven.

When Beethoven wrote this song on April 27, 1810, he called it a “bagatelle.” The term’s meaning is a trifle or a thing of little importance. In music, a bagatelle is a short, light piece of music, usually for the piano. But little did Beethoven know that this piece of music would become one of his most well-known works!

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this rendition of ‘Fur Elise’ today!

How I Overcame Depression

It has been years since James Lisi walked the streets of Manhattan, with a crack pipe in his pocket, in the middle of winter. Decades later he is still free from depression and anxiety. When he came to know the Truth–he found freedom.

Please join James as I shares his story.

Dad Covered In Coal Dust Takes Son To First Basketball Game

As a miner’s daughter, I couldn’t be more proud to share this story as a dad covered in coal dust takes his son to his first basketball game.

Covered in soot and grime and still in grungy work clothes, Micheal McGuire wasn’t going to miss three-year-old Easton’s first experience of a professional basketball game. He could have chosen to be late in order to clean up, but that absolutely wasn’t going to happen.

Michael didn’t care what he looked like, he only cared about being a part of one of Easton’s first big milestones. His wife was so proud of him that she snapped a photo. Neither one of them expected it to go viral, but it did catch the attention of Kentucky head coach John Calipari, who shared why that moment was special to him.

John said, “I appreciate it because it’s how my family got their start in this country.” He added, “The American Dream got its start in a coal mine in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Isn’t it neat to know that for a quiet, humble guy like that–that people appreciate you.”

After John saw this photo, he told the family that he wants them to be their VIP guests at the next Kentucky Wildcats basketball game. John says the reason for this special moment is because “You’re bringing light to a good man, a hard-working Kentucky and a coal miner who does everything he can to make time for his family and his son.”

The photo went viral, with others commenting that Micheal is a great dad and a true hero. I couldn’t agree more. As a man, husband, and father–providing for your family is a responsibility that rests heavily on a man’s shoulders. It's a burden, but it’s also a responsibility that brings joy–especially in memory-making moments like this. Way to go, Michael! You are truly a wonderful father!

2 Samuel 7:14 "I will be a father to him, and he'll be a son to me.”

Actor Jack Black Sings 'School Of Rock' Song To Terminally Ill Fan

Actor Jack Black sings a ‘School of Rock’ soundtrack song to a terminally ill fan.

What happens next is absolutely precious. During a fundraising event for palliative and hospice care at the Layla Paige and Friends Walk for TrinityKids Care in California, Jack encounters a young man named Abraham, who is terminal from a rare disease called Pearson syndrome.

The tenacious and comical actor gets level with Abraham while his mother Veronica films the chance encounter after Jack learns Abraham is a huge School Of Rock fan. Abraham then tells the Tenacious D singer-guitarist that his favorite scene of the film is when Jack sings “In the End of Time” (The Legend of The Rent).

Jack wastes no time and immediately jumps into character for an impromptu of the song–just for Abraham while holding his hand.

He stops singing for just a moment to ask Abraham, “That’s the song, right?” As he jumps back into the song that includes a ‘guitar’ solo, Abraham smiles and sings right along with him. When the performance is over, Jack genuinely thanks Abraham for his love of the film and squeezes his hand.

I can’t imagine a more precious, selfless moment than to bring joy into the life of another who is suffering. It’s a beautiful scene that unfolds between a man who loves to make people laugh and a child whose precious moments on earth are limited.

Not only did Jack make Abraham’s day, but Jack also helped create precious moments his mother, Veronica, will treasure forever.

Since the event, the video has gone viral, making rounds on the internet because it is just a personal and truly giving moment. Isn’t that one of the most beautiful things God has given us?

The ability to be selfless and to connect with another human being in life. It doesn’t take much to show compassion, love, and kindness. It can be as simple as singing.

Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.”

Steven Curtis Chapman Shares Powerful Testimony With I Am Second

Walking this life sometimes requires surrendering pain, sorrow, and questions to God. And in some cases, it feels like it’s minute by minute. Other times it’s when grief and trauma hit like tidal waves. Steven Curits Chapman shares a powerful testimony with I Am Second.

He came from humble beginnings, being born to teenage parents in Kentucky. But his father set a foundational example for Steve. Even though his family was what he called ‘a mess,’ Steve still remembers his father getting down on his knees to pray and ask God how to be a good husband and a good father.

Steve learned to fall in love with Jesus and follow God at an early age. As he grew into his teen years, he was drawn to the guitar and had a record deal by the time he finished high school.

This would go on to open doors for Steve to be one of the most successful and well-known artists in Christian Music. His songs are laced with life experiences of pain, from tragedy to songs of worshiping God to songs about being a father. He said it’s akin to ripping out pages of his journal and turning these words into music.

He and his wife would go on to have three biological kids and three through adoption. At the peak of his career and seemingly at the peak of joy in his personal life, Steve treasured all the blessings that had been bestowed upon him.

Tragically, through an accident at home, he lost his youngest daughter.

The dark days afterward could’ve torn his family apart. It’s rare for a family, much less a marriage, to survive the loss of a child. As a self-proclaimed fixer, this was a situation he couldn’t fix, which led to a 14-year journey of grief and surrendering the ‘why’ questions daily to God.

Yet, Steve’s advice is to take it all to God because God already knows you’re angry, He knows you’re grieving, and He knows you’re confused, but God reminds us to come to him–bring your burdens to him.

God wants us to trust Him because God is still good. He is still faithful, and He can still be trusted.

Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Young Ukrainian Refugee Earns Golden Buzzer After Emotional Dance Audition

An 8-year-old Ukrainian Refugee earns the Golden Buzzer after an emotional dance audition.

Zlata Komenko and her family fled to Spain as refugees from the war. It was recommended while she was there to enroll in a dance school, and her mother had managed to secure a scholarship.

Because she had such a gift to express humanity through dance, her dance teacher Jose Antonio Checa helped her secure an audition on Got Talent Global. With tears threatening to fall, Zlata told the judges she was dedicating her dance to all the children of Ukraine and to the people of Ukraine.

Her declaration made the judges tear up, and she hadn’t even begun to dance yet. Soon, she was dancing across the stage with poise, grace, and joy through ballet. It was utterly stunning and mesmerizing to watch. The audience and the judges were captivated by this precious little girl.

When she came to the end of the performance, both the judges and the audience gave her a standing ovation. But the excitement didn’t end there, the crowd began to chant for the judges to award this tiny dancer with the Golden Buzzer.

But then it happened, the judges one by one agreed, and suddenly gold was falling from the ceiling.

One viewer wrote about how brave she was to be in a foreign country, “To be only 8 years old, living in a foreign country and speaking Spanish is one thing. But to dance so expressively and to speak so eloquently is totally off the charts. I love the Ukrainian people, the crimes that are being committed against them at this time, will never be forgotten. She is top drawer in my books.”

Another wrote how proud she should be, “Have no clue what was being said, but I also couldn't hold my tears back. What a beautiful, brave, and amazing little girl. She should be so proud of herself. Can't imagine what she is going through!! God bless her and all the Ukrainian people!”

We may not understand what is being said, but we can see the turmoil and strength that lies in her heart. He’s given this sweet child a precious gift to express love, grace, hope, sorrow, and joy through the gift of dance.

Ecclesiastes 3:4 “A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.”

Bride And Her Nurse Friends Save Guest's Life After Widow Maker Heart Attack During Reception

The bride and her nurse friends save a guest’s life after ‘widow maker’ heart attack during the reception.

If you’re going to have a heart attack, the kind that generally takes your life, the best place to be is in the emergency room. But if that isn’t a possibility, the next best place to be is surrounded by experienced medical professionals.

Micaela Johnson had just tied the knot with the love of her life. As an emergency room nurse, most of Micaela's co-workers had become close friends and had attended the wedding. While she was celebrating a monumental moment with her new husband and close friends, one of her guests suddenly collapsed on the dance floor.

Micaela and her friends didn’t waste any time jumping into action. As they quickly assessed the situation, they gave this guest every bit of help he would need in order to survive what’s known as a ‘widow maker’ heart attack.

It must have looked unusual that they were dressed to the nines instead of scrubs, but the team got to work with CPR and a defibrillator until more help could arrive.

Some might call it luck that this man had been surrounded by an army of emergency nurses. I’d like to call it a blessing.

God put this man in the right place at the right time to get the help he needed. Had he not been at Micaela’s  wedding, he likely would not have survived. It’s a good thing he RSVP’d and made it her joyous day.

I love that it didn’t matter that it was this bride’s special day. She did what was created to do–help others.

"In the same way, let your light shine before people, so they can see the good things you do and praise your Father who is in heaven,” Matthew 5:16.

Flight Attendant Overcome With Emotion While Thanking Favorite Teacher Over The Intercom

Though this WestJet flight attendant was overcome with emotion while thanking her favorite teacher over the intercom, there is no doubt she touched her special teacher’s heart as well!

In this Inside Edition report, we meet Lora Caruso. Lora is a flight attendant who unexpectedly recognized her “favorite teacher ever” on the flight she was working on National Teacher’s Day. How about that for a coincidence?

Lora warns guests that she’s going to get emotional during her announcement, and then she goes on to say that she has seen Miss O’Connell for the first time since 1990! She’s on the flight, and Lora simply has to publicly recognize her after all of these years!

Lora tells all of Miss O’Connell’s fellow travelers that Miss O’Connell was her English and music teacher in high school. Lora credits her teacher for helping her develop a love for Shakespeare and a desire to play the piano. Those alone are two pretty impressive accomplishments!

What’s more, is that Lora didn’t just learn to play the piano; she got a Master’s Degree in piano! Lora says that she can also write an essay, which, unfortunately, is not always mastered. But, Miss O’Connell’s positive impact on Lora may go well beyond what she instilled and gave to Lora.

The video continues as Lora runs down the aisle of the aircraft to give Miss O’Connell a big hug. When Miss O’Connell tells Lora that she’s made her day, Lora tells her that she’s made her life!

Near the end of the video, the Inside Edition reporter speaks to Lora about their touching reunion. Lora shares a yearbook photo of her beautiful, inside-and-out teacher, and then she says something interesting.

Lora says, “she saved me from so much.” While that statement isn’t explained, it’s safe to assume that Miss O’Connell was a role model and a guiding force to Lora during those critical years!

Teaching is extraordinarily hard these days. It’s a shame we often don’t recognize the wonderful impact of teachers and educators until many years later, but how nice it would be to share that love and appreciation with present-day professionals—those making a difference in kids’ lives every day.

Thank you, Miss O’Connell, for doing such a fine job, and thank you, Lora, for telling her so!

“Your love has given me great joy and encouragement because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people.” Philemon 1:7

“I Hope The Lord Will Continue To Bless Me”: Dolly Parton Philanthropy Acceptance Speech

As always, great humility and heart come through as she states, “I hope the Lord will continue to bless me” during Dolly Parton’s philanthropy award acceptance! By now, the world expects nothing else of “The Smokey Mountain Nightingale.”

Dolly, along with five other individuals or non-profit agencies, was awarded the Carnegie Corporation’s Medal of Philanthropy in October 2022. The awards ceremony was held at Gotham Hall in New York, and in the video, Dolly talks primarily about her “Imagination Library,” but that is far from the extent of her giving.

The Imagination Library Project, founded out of Dolly’s desire to instill the love of books and reading in children, provides one free book each month to every child under the age of five in participating communities. Partner communities in several countries share funding with Dolly Parton, and currently, IL distributes 2 million books every month!

Listen as Dolly takes the stage and leads the audience in an original song in tribute to books! Dressed in a black and gold suit, she jokes about nearly having to remove her hair, generously decorated with bling, to put on the medal that hangs around her neck from a wide red ribbon. Dolly says she is “honored” and “proud” to be among so many others who are trying to make the world better.

Using her long, pink fingernails to create a rhythm, Dolly sings the song that tells how books grabbed her attention from the very start—hooked from the feel, smell, and look of ‘em! She invites the audience to sing along, but they need a couple of tries! We get a view of the elegant room and dressed-up guests as they join in. She jokes that they’re ready to sing “9 to 5.” Who can resist Dolly?

Dolly gets serious and tells the crowd, "I just give from my heart. I never know what I'm going to do or why I'm gonna do it. I just see a need, and if I can fill it, then I will." She commends the other recipients for their wonderful efforts and teases one of the hosts when she needs clarification on the pronunciation of “Carnegie.” She is just so wonderfully genuine and warm!

Referencing her poor beginnings, Dolly says she’s pleased to be able to give and to do her part to help out. She thanks “the good Lord” for His blessings, and she gives Him praise. With a final thanks, Dolly bids goodnight!

What are the things that Dolly didn’t mention on stage? Dolly pays for band uniforms for many TN high schools. She purchased a Nashville strip mall to support the neighboring black community with royalties earned from Whitney Houston’s recording of Dolly’s hit, “ I Will Always Love You.” She’s raised large sums of money for disaster relief, and she gives each of her Dollywood employees a day off to do volunteer work at a nonprofit of their choice!

It’s not just one giant thing that Ms. Parton does for her community and fans. It’s a million little and large ways in which she makes the world a better place. We thank you, Dolly!

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”” Luke 6:38

Trampoline Artist Uses Staircase To Showcase That Success Is Not Linear

This is quite an intriguing video. A trampoline artist uses a staircase to showcase that success is not linear.

Yoann Bourgeois gives an incredible performance in front of a live audience. He is seen climbing a stair case and falling off as he makes it closer and closer to the top. Right when you think he is getting closer to his goal, suddenly he falls down to the trampoline only to be put back two or three steps from where he just was.

He finally reaches the top of the staircase appearing to have made it, however he is given the shock of falling further and further down towards the trampoline with less and less stamina.

Suddenly, he regains his strength and appears to be bouncing high and with more strength than each time before. The audience is wowed when without the stairs, he ends up gaining enough power and strength to reach the top. As he makes it to the top, everyone cheers and claps over his moving performance.

Yoann does a fabulous job of giving a visual that success is not necessary step by step. In this life we will have challenges and momentary setbacks, however we can have great joy in knowing that we do not have to give up.

God provides us with a spirit of endurance through His Holy Spirit. Even when it feels like we are constantly losing the battle against the enemy, we can regain hope and strength by calling out to Christ. He is the only One who helps us get to the top. It is all for His glory.

One viewer summed it up perfectly, saying, “it's like an analogy for how to live life. No matter how you fall, you must bounce back. More importantly, you should enjoy the journey!”

"Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14

A Day In My Life With My Husband

She Was Crawling To The Finish Line Until A Kind Stranger Stopped To Help

She was crawling to the finish line until a kind stranger stopped to help. This is one beautiful story of kindness, dedication, and focusing on the finish line in your Christian walk.

Have you ever crossed a finish line after months and months of dedicated training? There is nothing like that feeling. Your body is exhausted from being pushed to the limit, and your legs are wobbly like jello. But that finish line is a slice of heavenly accomplishment.

That was the goal of the runner in this video. No one knows if it was a full marathon or a half marathon. No one knows if this woman had cancer, had a setback, or perhaps her body just collapsed after grinding through mile after mile.

Either way, the woman in this video was determined to make it–even if she had to crawl the last several yards. Nor did it matter to her that hundreds of people were watching. In her mind, it was she was alone taking it one inch at a time to cross the line of glory set before her.

Most runners that passed her were focused solely on their own race. They wanted to beat their previous record and cared not about the runner that was on her hands and feet. Until one runner saw her and turned back to help her.

In a moving moment, a runner ran past the woman on the track only to turn around and help her up. When he did, her body turned into jello. But that didn’t stop him from doing the right thing.

You see, God wants us all to run the race. But he also wants us to help those who are in need. And that’s just what this good samaritan did. As he struggled to help her, several other people jumped in and helped them both get this woman to the finish line!

In life, putting one foot in front of the other requires effort but relying on God to help you win the race is vital. Just when we least expect it, he will surround us with a great cloud of kind strangers to hold us up when we can’t take another step.

1 Corinthians 9:24 “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”

Hauntingly Beautiful Dance Troupe Stuns The Crowd On Australia's Got Talent

Though it’s terrifying to watch at some points, try to stay tuned as this hauntingly beautiful dance troupe stuns the crowd on Australia’s Got Talent!

The group is called ANGELIC, but they are part of Team Adrenalin, which is based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Melbourne is the capital city of the state of Victoria, and it has a population of nearly 5 million people.

Guess what else. Melbourne is home to a whole bunch of athletic, flexible, fit, twisty, and flippy kids and teens! See what you think!

As the video starts, there are 21 team members positioned across Australia’s Got Talent stage; three are male, and 18 are female. They look to range in age from early elementary school to college students.

They are dressed in black bodysuits and shorts, and the girls wear their hair tightly braided into side buns. The make-up is silver, their facials are somber, and the music is dark and foreboding—a mood and look that is both ghostly and alien. It’s ironic for a group of heaven-sent gymnasts!

From the very beginning of the routine, it’s hard to know where to look. So much awesomeness is going on! The performers demonstrate impeccable timing and perfectly synchronized moves; there isn’t a spot on the floor where something magical isn’t taking place!

At 25 seconds and right after the first flyer has snatched the breath of many audience members, two others do aerials across the floor, landing in just the right spots to navigate the next daring stunt! At 40 seconds, the first frightening flight takes place, and it’s easy to imagine that cheer moms worldwide experience nerves as they watch their kids go airborne! We see little of the judges, but we do get glimpses of a couple of anxious parents and nail-biting Host Ricki-Lee Coulter.

By 1:30, the group falls into formation to create a human serpent. Ten ladies hold a chain of four others, strung together by their hands and feet, and they mimic a wave that rises and falls three times! A final stunt is executed from behind, and the entire team lands within moments in a pose, hands raised and heads high!

The mascot for their gym is a raging bull. He’s red and equipped with nose rings, presumably to depict a hard-to-handle, adrenaline-filled beast. The bull is printed on the shirts of two super relieved parents, who are now able to relax and breathe!

“Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.” Jeremiah 31:13
