Henry Winkler Reminisces About His Iconic Role on ‘Happy Days’

In an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Henry Winkler reminisced about his iconic role in the beloved television series Happy Days. In the interview, Henry talked about his long and storied career, including his role as Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli on the popular 1970s sitcom. Watch the video to hear what Henry had to say about playing the Fonz.

Hollywood is a very fickle place. Tastes and preferences are constantly changing. That means what is popular now may not and probably will not be five minutes from now. Because tastes change so rapidly, actors and actresses can often have trouble securing steady work. That’s why pursuing a career in the entertainment industry is such a crapshoot.

Despite the entertainment industry's unpredictability, Henry has enjoyed a long and successful career, appearing in films and on television for decades. But his most famous role, which he’s most closely associated with, is the Fonz. His character was the definition of cool, but as Henry hilariously explains, that didn’t always translate to him.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Henry says that he wasn’t great with Fonzie’s motorcycle, only riding it once, which ended in disaster.

“There was a moment when they had me on Soundstage 5 at Paramount,” he said. “I was on the bike, and all I had to do was rev it and move it five feet. I revved it and was so dyslexic I had no idea where the brake was, where the gear was, and I shot forward.”

He adds he “put the bike down and we slid under the truck on the soundstage,” causing people to come running to see what had transpired. He hilariously adds that people were more concerned about the bike because it was a rental and then proceeded to check on him.

“I never rode it again,” he said.

Another interesting fact Henry mentions about Fonzie’s bike is that it was the same one used by Steve McQueen in “The Great Escape.”

Later in the interview, it was stated that Henry and his wife had been married for 45 years. He shared what he believes is the secret to a long, happy marriage.

Community Shows Love and Support for Business Owner After Shocking Attack

A community has come together to show love and support for a business owner after a shocking attack. Residents of a city in California did what they could to help a local business owner after he was the victim of a brutal assault. Watch the video to hear how people generously donated their time and talents to help one man and his business.

There is a lot of hate, evil and darkness in the world. Watch five minutes of any national, 24-hour news broadcast or quickly scan any social media platform, and you’ll come to the same conclusion. Unfortunately, people have the capacity to inflict massive amounts of hurt and pain upon one another.

However, while sin has and does corrupt and destroy everything it touches, some good can still be found in the world. A clip posted on YouTube tells the story of how some people came together to show love and support to one man and his small business after he was brutally attacked.

Mr. Lee, the owner of a Sacramento, California, donut shop, was attacked while working early one morning. The video states the business owner sustained a wound to his head, landing him in the hospital. Eventually, Mr. Lee developed a blood clot and had to have emergency surgery.

Mr. Lee is on the mend following the surgery, recuperating and progressing nicely from his injuries and surgery. However, as Mr. Lee is away from his business, several volunteers have gotten to work, and helped to give the donut shop a little tender, loving and caring.

“Freshly-painted store, new faces here, new equipment in the back,” Isaac Gonzalez, the organizer of the volunteer effort, said. “We hope it’s just a really good example of how much we love Mr. Lee.”

But fixing up his business is not all they volunteers are doing.

Volunteers have raised $18,000, some of which has helped to spruce up the business. The clip states that some of that money will also be given to Mr. Lee.

Siblings Come Together to Celebrate Their Dad’s Last Day of Work in The Sweetest Way

A group of siblings came together to celebrate their dad’s last day of work in the sweetest way. On his last work day, the retiring father received a precious surprise from his children. Check out the video to watch the heartwarming surprise.

Many people plan for and eagerly await their retirement. Reaching the point when you no longer need to work is a big, momentous occasion in everyone’s life. But when that day finally arrives, how do you properly recognize and celebrate someone’s last day of work?

A clip posted on social media showed that three siblings knew precisely how to recognize their father’s impending retirement. What the siblings did was unexpected and unique; their retiring father will likely remember it for a very long time. They used the occasion to create a sweet, precious memory.

In the video, one of the three siblings mentions that their father, who has worked at the high school for over 40 years, drove them to school every day for eight years. So, they showed up and surprised him on his last day of work. But instead of him taking them to school, they were hitching a ride with Dad to their jobs.

The siblings even made a playlist of songs they’d commonly listen to during those carpool rides with their father. Also, they made sure to make one essential stop along the way: a bagel shop. The sibling narrating the video explains that this was a stop they made every day on their route to school.

“Ten out of 10, would recommend just randomly showing up to your parents' house to carpool to work, especially if they took you to school like every single day for eight years,” the video’s narrator said.

What a sweet but simple surprise that likely meant the world to their father.

Pastor's Insightful and Powerful Comments On God's Timing And Our Ambition

A pastor shared some truly insightful and powerful comments on God’s timing and our ambition and drive as a society. Pastor Phillip Anthony Mitchell mentioned how and why God’s timeline is always best and why sometimes having extreme ambition and drive is not always good. Watch the short video to hear what the pastor had to say.

It's been said that time is money. Our society follows that old axiom with much passion and zeal. Everyone knows what they want, and they want it now, immediately, and without even the slightest delay. If there is a momentary pause or delay, someone else is getting ahead of me, or I might not have the newest, biggest or best of something.

Most people today, without a doubt, think that way. However, as most Christians have likely already discovered, God does not operate and adhere to our timeline. He has his schedule, and it may not always align with our desires.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Pastor Phillip Anthony Mitchell mentions God's timing during a conversation with Christian recording artist Lecrae. He also explains why people who want things now are often entirely wrong. His insight and wisdom come from his personal experience and struggles.

“Some of God’s goodness is to tell you, ‘Wait,’” he said. “Cause that’s like one of our young kids asking us for a car, and you 10. I got the means to give you that car, but if I give you that car at 10, you’re going to kill yourself. Now, you come back and ask me for that car at 17, you’re a little bit more mature. You can handle that.”

Later in the clip, the pastor mentioned what change he believes would serve our current generation well.

“And I think this generation would do itself good if we get delivered from being hyper-ambitious and we focus more on the walk with the Lord,” he said. “And we stop seeing all these things as the reward. I remind my churches as often as I can, Christ is the reward.”

Actress Alexa PenaVega On Her Faith and Navigating Grief and Loss

Actress Alexa PenaVega, in an interview, discussed her faith and navigating grief, pain and loss. Additionally, she talked about motherhood and how that influences and impacts the roles she selects. Watch the clip to hear Alexa’s heartbreaking and inspiring journey as she and her husband have dealt with the painful loss of a child.

Unfortunately, there will be times of great pain and sadness in life. It does not matter how much fame or money one has; those devastating and gut-wrenching circumstances have a way of finding us at one time or another. It’s impossible to go through life without experiencing immense heartache and sorrow.

However, there is still hope even during the heartache, pain and sadness. Jesus Christ offers comfort and healing to those who have been hurt. He also provides rest for those who are weary and tired. He is the calm amid the storm and the peace that surpasses all understanding.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Alexa and her husband, Carlos, experienced a stillbirth. The “Spy Kids” star said it was an unexpected loss because there was a heartbeat two minutes before their daughter was born. It was a devastating and heartbreaking loss. But even during the pain and the hurt, Alexa said there was an unexplainable peace.

“There was a lot of pain, but it was pain with purpose,” she said. “And for people who haven’t had to walk through something heavy like this, it’s, it’s really hard to understand. Like, how can you find joy after that? How can you experience this crazy peace? It was supernatural peace right away. Like, it was painful. Like, we would just, we would cry, and we hurt and we grieved.”

She added that going through that experience caused her to hold and hug her other children a little tighter. Alexa knows precisely where her late daughter is at this very moment.

“But I still feel so connected to Indy,” she said. “I know she’s up in heaven. I know she’s dancing with Jesus and having the best time ever. And you know, while I wish she was here, I always tell people, like, ‘That girl changed the world without even taking a breath.’ And I’m like, ‘That’s powerful.’”

Earlier in the clip, Alexa said that being a mother and a Christian has impacted her project decisions.

“Not that I wouldn’t be this way anyway,” she said. “Ever since I found my faith, just the roles I was taking in general were just, I was just way more aware of the content I was putting out.”

She said she does not want the movies and television shows she appears in to contradict what she is teaching and telling her children.

Students and Teachers Come Together to Give Beloved Janitor Moving Retirement Send-Off

A group of students and teachers came together to give a beloved school janitor a moving retirement send-off. The kind and loving act most certainly caught the retiring janitor off guard. The video shows him becoming emotional at their show of love. Check out the video to watch the sweet, heartwarming moment.

No one wants to work until their dying day. That’s why many people have a lifelong goal of retirement. They plan and save, hoping that one day they will eventually be able to give up their 9-to-5 job and sit back, relax and enjoy their golden years. There are many more important things in life than a weekly or bi-weekly paycheck.

However, as much as people look forward to retirement, leaving their jobs once and for all may not be as easy as they thought. Of course, it’s not the actual work that will be missed; it’s their co-workers. Co-workers and bosses significantly impact jobs and how we perceive those workplaces.

A clip posted on YouTube captures the moment a school janitor retires and leaves his job for the final time. As he does so, the beloved janitor is given the sweetest goodbye you could possibly imagine. Students and teachers line up for what appears to be miles to say goodbye and wish him a happy retirement.

As he walks down the middle of a path, students and teachers line up on the outer edge of the walkway. They applauded the janitor for his more than 30 years of faithful service to the school.

At different points throughout the video, he turns and acknowledges the applause with a wave or smile.

As the clip mentions, it’s clear that the retiring janitor is attempting to prevent himself from breaking down in tears. Who wouldn’t get emotional at such a lovely display? They showed him how much he meant to them and how much he’ll be missed.

Singer Olivia Lane's Powerful Words on Faith and Feeling God’s Presence

Singer-songwriter Olivia Lane shared some powerful words about faith and feeling God’s presence in our lives. Her comments are insightful, uplifting and helpful to anyone and everyone who may be struggling with a similar issue. Watch the video to hear Olivia’s wonderfully insightful thoughts and comments on faith and feeling God’s presence in your life.

Christians want to feel and hear God’s presence. We should all want to know God’s will and purpose for our lives. It should surprise no one when someone seeks out His guidance and direction. In fact, that should be a request we make of Him regularly.

However, it can become frustrating when we feel like we aren’t hearing or feeling His presence or getting His guidance. It can get to the point where it feels like He’s not hearing or possibly even ignoring our requests and prayers. But that’s not the case, and Olivia Lane shared some insightful and powerful reasons why.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Olivia talked to individuals who feel as if they have not been feeling the Lord’s presence or guidance in their lives. She mentioned something she learned “very early in her faith journey that changed everything.” It was something her boyfriend, now her husband, said to her at the time.

She told him that for the longest time, she believed she felt God’s presence. Then, for whatever reason, she felt as if He “left the building.” The response she received is something we can all apply to our lives.

“He turned to me and said, ‘Olivia, faith is not a feeling,’” she recalled. ‘Faith is a choice. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen, which means we can have confidence in things that are unseen, God, who is unseen.’”

She ends the video by sharing more about faith, trust and hope in God.

“See, feelings are fleeting,” she said. “Faith, in the moments where God is silent, is necessary because He’s growing you. Silence does not mean absence. God is just maturing you.”

Jeremiah 29:13 “And you will be searching for me, and I will be there, when you have gone after me with all your heart.”

Russell Brand Marks 22 Years Sober By Declaring ‘God Is Real’

Russell Brand marked 22 years of sobriety by declaring, “God is Real.” The actor, author and podcast host celebrated more than two decades of sobriety by recognizing God's help getting and staying clean. Check out the video to hear Russell’s powerful and inspiring words about the important milestone in his life and sobriety.

The world is a lost and fallen place filled with hurting and struggling people. As the Bible says, all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. We’re all sinners who have willingly turned our backs on Him. None of us deserves or will ever deserve the love, forgiveness and mercy that He so freely offers all.

He has the ability and power to forgive and cleanse even the most wretched, lost sinner of them all. He can mend hearts, lives and relationships. He even has the power to break addictions that have consumed and taken control of someone’s life for years.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Russell celebrates being sober for more than 20 years. He mentions that one of the most important things he’s learned in that time has been the importance of his spiritual life.

“What the great gift of recovery is is the ability to know and practice that the spiritual life has to come first, and the most important thing in your life is the way that you serve other people,” he said.

Near the end of the clip, Russell offers those who are struggling and who might be amid an addiction some advice.

“If you’re struggling, there’s a way out of that struggle,” he said. “God is real. And the things in your life that feel like punishments are lessons and opportunities to move closer to God. And the closer to God you get, the more beautiful life can be.”

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self-control.”
