The CommUNITY ATL Choir's show-stopping “Lovely Day” performance on AGT won the hearts of everyone in the audience—including the judges. They’ve got star talent. Watch the video to be amazed!

The choir’s performance of "Lovely Day" on America's Got Talent is absolutely stunning. When the five lead singers start out on the stage, it's obvious that they already sound incredible. Then more trickle onto the stage, and even more pop out of the audience. 

“I honestly think this is one of the best choirs we’ve had in years,” judge Simon Cowell said when they finished. “You were prepped. The choreography was amazing. The vocal arrangements were amazing. You have sensed the mood and done exactly the right thing, which is give us something that makes us feel great.”

After the performance finished, the choir got four eager yeses from the judges. 

The "Lovely Day" America's Got Talent performance was inspired by Bill Withers’ original 1977 hit. Bill was known for his 18-second vocal stretch towards the end of the song, which is the longest held note on any U.S. singles chart. The choir doesn’t attempt it here, and no one can blame them—it's quite a feat to tackle.

The song is all about love and the positivity that it can make you feel. Even the most gloomy days can feel bright when you have someone you love by your side.

This busker's dazzling cover of 'Let It Be' by The Beatles does not fail to surprise and delight. Play the video to listen to the young woman sing. If I were walking by, I would certainly stop and listen to her heartfelt performance. 

When you see the young busker standing there on the streetside, you don’t imagine she’ll have a deep, winding voice as dreamy as she does. She sings "Let It Be" by The Beatles in a way that I’ve never heard before. She lets her voice change instead of bending it to the song. 

As she sings on the sunny English street, passersby stop and listen, transfixed, while others step over to give her a token of appreciation for her performance. 

It’s an interesting song choice for the busker, who goes by Amber. Her voice is so deep and strong; you wouldn’t naturally place it with a song like this. Nonetheless, it sounds marvelous.

The song was written by Beatles member Paul McCartney. 

He said, "I had a dream in the Sixties where my mum who died came to me in a dream and was reassuring me, saying: 'It's gonna be OK. Just let it be...'"

His mother’s name was Mary, which is why he wrote the lyrics the way he did. His mother had died during cancer treatment when he was just 14. He had the dream at the age of 26, when he was at a difficult place in his life, and the dream brought comfort to him. 

Amber does a wonderful job in her cover of “Let It Be.” It’s a gift anytime she sings, no matter the song.

The Dwayene Gretzky band's cover of “Always Be My Baby” is fantastic, hands down. It’s one of the best Mariah Carey covers we’ve ever heard. Play the video to sing along.

With about 6 back-up singers all in perfect sync and an amazing lead singer, Chynna Lewis, the "Always Be My Baby" Mariah Carey cover sounds incredible. All of the instruments, from the piano to the guitars, are on point. It couldn’t be more perfect.

"Always Be My Baby" by Mariah Carey was the No. 1 song when it came out in 1996 and was Mariah’s 11th No. 1 hit. Mariah co-wrote the song with Jermaine Dupri.

The performance feels so vibrant and warm, you can’t help snapping a finger to it or singing along. Seeing all of the musicians have fun as they perform makes you feel like part of the gang. All in all, it’s a wonderful ode to Mariah Carey.

“We got our first microphone in December 2021,” they share. “With no experience, we learned how to arrange three-part harmony and use a camera to record our cover songs.  Everything was homemade…but what started as just music for family and friends soon grew to an audience of over 1 million followers.  We never dreamed our music would be loved by so many, and it’s been incredible to become part of a community that’s connected through the gift of music..”

“I'd been through a lot of relationships that eventually failed, and still searching for something that could really endure. And that sort of took a life of its own as well. It became more of a universal feeling. I adjusted that during the recording of it, and ended up putting a gospel choir on it. And you know, realized suddenly that I'd written almost a spiritual song, almost a gospel song,” he said. “Sometimes, you feel like you had nothing to do with it, really. You're just putting it down on paper, or coming up with a melody that will bring the meaning of the song out, bring the emotion out in the song."

As for Jared Halley’s background, he began his musical journey at a young age and quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent. He rose to prominence through his YouTube channel, where he showcased his vocal abilities by performing a wide range of songs, spanning various genres. She also said, “Something good can come from anything. Had it not been for that woman, I would never have written 'Jolene' and I wouldn't have made all that money, so thank you, Jolene.”
The woman’s name wasn’t actually Jolene. Dolly had a young fan with that name, and she had told her she would find a way to include her name in one of her songs.

At the start of this song, an accompanist plays a beautiful introduction. You see Amy standing in front of a large group of a children’s choir, seated behind her. “The Brady Bunch” theme song got a rockin’ makeover you must hear. Guaranteed, without a doubt, that you have never heard the tune from the iconic and beloved television program like this before. Watch the short, delightful and thoroughly entertaining clip to hear this modern, updated take on “The Brady Bunch” theme song.

Many things are considered classics – songs, cars, jokes, movies, television shows and books, to name a few. Typically, these items are viewed by the majority of the population as the best offerings in their respective categories. Basically, these particular objects are the gold standard, and everything else that follows is simply, and more than likely failing miserably, trying to hit that mark.

However, many people hold the false belief that simply because something is considered a classic, it’s good, the best and of the highest quality. How do I know this? How can I make such a claim? Well, for instance, “The Brady Bunch” is considered a classic, and it’s, without a doubt, the absolute worst television show of all time, with “Gilligan’s Island” coming in a close second. Everything about “The Brady Bunch” is cringeworthy. The show is so bad that it’s downright unwatchable.

Nevertheless, many people still enjoy that program about a large, mixed family made up of people who cannot act. In a clip posted on YouTube, one man took one of the show’s most iconic, recognizable elements: its theme song, and produced an updated, modern twist.

While many covers are nothing more than carbon copies of the original version. That is not the case at all in this instance. He went in a decidedly different direction, giving “The Brady Bunch” theme song a hard rock version.

Regardless of how you feel about the show itself, this cover is incredibly fun and requires a fair amount of musical talent. How could you not at least appreciate this cover?

This young busker’s cover performance gets a twist with a very unique instrument. The 12-year-old boy, Riordon Hopwood, strums and sings on a three-string cigar box guitar his father made. It’s a very special performance that’s fun to watch. Play the video to see young Riordian take it away.

If you don’t already stop in your tracks for talented buskers, you’ve got to at least stop when you see one so young and talented like Riordan. He’s only 12, but he’s got classic taste—he sings “Money (That’s What I Want)" by The Beatles.

The lyrics are certainly not deep, and they are quite repetitive, but people like the Beatles’ song because everyone can easily relate to it. Who hasn’t wanted a little cash one time or another? Plus, it is quite catchy. 

This Young Busker is Going Places 

The young boy’s unique instrument performance makes quite the impression on passersby. 
Riordan is well on his way to a bright musical career. The 12-year-old is a hard worker with a dream of performing beyond Dublin’s streets. Riordan is an inspiration to other young kids. If he can do something like this, then they can, too. 

He says, “I practice every day and perform every single week, whether on Grafton street, open mics, or in the school band/choir with my classmates. Like my hero Ed Sheeran, I believe hard work, hustle, and heart are what shape an artist. Every gig, every cover, every crowd teaches me something new.”

Busking can be hard. Some crowds are tough, while others are captivated. Hopefully, Riordan will stick to that determination and keep on busking and offering more unique instrument performances!

This “Come Together” cover will stop you in your tracks. It sounds so good, you won’t be able to press pause. Play the video to hear it. 

Zoe Clarke and her band’s Beatles "Come Together" cover sounds incredible. It’s got amazing guitar riffs, acoustic sweetness, drums, bass, and a rolling energy that you can’t help but tap your foot or sing along to. It is an all-around great cover. 

Zoe’s voice alone is enough to make you stop and listen in wonder, but her instrumental accompaniments help create a lively atmosphere that sucks you in right away. If she doesn’t have a studio cover of this song available for streaming, the talented artist should give it some heavy consideration—because it really does sound that good.

“Come Together” Was One of the Beatles' Last Songs 

Ironically, “Come Together” was one of the last songs The Beatles worked on before their split. John Lennon wrote it for pro-drugs politician Timothy Leary, who stood against Ronald Reagan as governor of California. But then Timothy went to prison for drug possession, which allowed Lennon to record it with The Beatles.

This young street performer wows with his “Layla” cover. As the lively 9-year-old plays on a busy UK street, many people stop to watch him strum his guitar and sing.

This street performer’s "Layla" cover even takes the song to the next level, as Leonardo adds his own interpretive twist to the classic. 

The 1970 ballad was written by Eric Claption and Jim Gordon. It was inspired by Eric’s secret love for his friend’s wife, whom he eventually married. Some of the song’s lyrics are:

A Captivating Rendition of “Layla” 

This young street performer’s rendition of "Layla" is so captivating. When you see a bright young person doing something like this, with enthusiasm, it inspires hope. You know that they have a solid start, and you feel good about it for them. Leonardo is definitely on his way to a shiny career in music. 

It’s easy to see why people crowd around him in wonder. His talent is rare, regardless of age. So, for him to be so young and so talented is very rare.

We can’t know everything behind the scenes, but I hope this child is giving street performances because he loves it and not because he’s required to. Anyway, it looks like he's enjoying himself!

You’ve never heard the “Gilligan’s Island” theme song like this, guaranteed. It’s a huge, but welcome stylistic departure, an incredibly unique take on the memorable tune we all know and love. Covers today are a dime a dozen. They can be found literally everywhere you listen to music – Spotify, Apple Music, America’s Got Talent, American Idol, The Voice and even the radio. But let’s be honest, 99 percent of those covers are essentially carbon copies of the original. Sure, they may sound great, but they are all, for the most part, extremely forgettable.

What is really the point of covering a song if the artist is just going to do it exactly as the original? Wouldn’t we be better off just listening to the first version? Nine times out of 10, it’s going to be better anyway. The point being that if you’re going to cover a song, take a chance, branch out, try something new and take it in a different direction, at least that shows some creativity and skill.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one musician took the “Gilligan’s Island” theme song in a decidedly different direction. It’s guaranteed that you have never heard the tune about the three-hour tour aboard The S.S. Minnow performed quite like this. While all the lyrics are exactly the same, and you’ll soon recognize them, the musical style isn’t quite as it was heard back in the 1960s.

“Just sit right back, and you’ll hear a tale

A tale of a fateful trip that started from this tropic port

Aboard this tiny ship”

Even if this kind of style isn’t your preferred kind of music, and you’d rather hear it as it was way back in the 1960s, you still have to appreciate the effort and the creativity to do something like this. At least, it’s not simply a duplicate, like nearly every other musical cover.

On some worn street corner somewhere in the world, two women took a song many of us first shouted from car radios and kitchen floors and turned it into something softer, deeper, almost holy. Living on a Prayer gets a unique cover with Leire and a friend. Leire is an up-and-coming musician with more than 236,000 friends on her YouTube channel. 

The song was once all grit and fist-pumping hope. It was kind of an anthem that made you feel invincible with teased hair and reckless dreams. But in their hands, it slowed down and became something tender. It feels like a prayer whispered after life has bruised you a little, or maybe the ache of still believing when the miracle hasn’t shown up yet.

Their harmonies didn’t just sing a childhood favorite; they unraveled it. Bon Jovi wrote the song in 1986 about holding on when life feels hard, but these women reminded us that some songs grow up with us. What once sounded like youthful rebellion now feels like survival. Like grit. Like grace. Like meeting work deadlines on top of the day-to-day, with raising kids and trying to make it to bedtime.  

And maybe that’s what wrecks me most. Music has this wild, stubborn way of finding us again. A song from childhood can come back slower, weathered, softer, and somehow say exactly what our older hearts needed to hear. Sometimes faith sounds less like shouting and more like harmony rising in unexpected places. Even on the streets somewhere in this broken and beautiful world.

The album is full of wonderful movie classics, a genre that sounds perfect with Josh Groban’s incredible voice. This passion project includes 10 tracks and serves as a tribute to iconic cinema classics, featuring famous songs and scores from films like The Lion King, Casablanca, and Breakfast at Tiffany's.

The movie Stand By Me was released in 1986 and is a coming-of-age classic directed by Rob Reiner, based on Stephen King's 1982 novella The Body. The movie’s title was taken from Ben E. King's 1961 hit soul song, which plays during the film's iconic closing credits.

When Josh Groban was asked how he managed to whittle down the song selections for his new album to 10 tracks, he shared that he had always wanted to include ‘Stand By Me.’

Josh Groban Started His Album With ‘As Time Goes By’

“I knew what my bookends were. ‘As Time Goes By’ would open the album because (orchestrator) Jeff Atmajian wrote an opening arrangement that captured the essence of what I wanted people to hear first. And then to end with a song that has meant so much to me (“Stand By Me”) and include a tribute to Rob Reiner,” Josh shared.

Josh Groban prepared for recording Cinematic by rewatching the movies that featured songs on the album.

“Not just to get back in the mood but also to educate myself about some of the films that admittedly I didn’t know the songs were from,” said Josh. “The cool thing about an album like this is everyone knows the theme from that movie. But it also pays tribute to the songs that were maybe far more popular than the movies themselves.”

Home Free Began Back in 2000

Home Free started out years ago in 2000 with brothers Chris and Adam Rupp and their friends Darren Scruggs, Dan Lemke, and Matt Atwood. They named themselves after Matt’s grandfather, who owned a boat called Home Free. It started out as just a hobby, but then they started singing at events more and more, until it averaged around 200 shows a year. 

Home Free’s a cappella medley is incredible. It’s amazing that they can combine their voices to sound like this without using a single instrument. 

The original members of the group have come and gone. Only Adam Rupp has stayed, and current members include Rob Lundquist, Tim Foust, Adam Chance, and Adam Bastien—that’s a lot of Adams. 

The band is known for its frequent covers of country songs. 

“When it comes to picking out the songs we cover, it’s definitely a process, and it’s no secret that we’re inspired by a range of genres,” Adam Chance said, which seems true to this cover. However, he says country does have a special place in the band’s hearts.

Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin” gets an incredible cover by YouTube cover band First To Eleven. The band always delivers an exciting energy when they play. Play the video to see it!

First To Eleven’s Journey "Don’t Stop Believin'" cover is exciting and upbeat. It’s a wonderful cover that makes you feel like you can dance the night away. The video is filmed at night–a great choice that matches the song. 

The band performs in a large city’s lit streets and on a high rooftop. It’s one of those unforgettable feel-good songs you can’t get out of your head. 

This is a Youthful Version of “Don’t Stop Believin” 

The cover sounds just slightly different from Journey’s original song, but it suits this youthful band perfectly. It is a hopeful song about pursuing dreams, even though you may be close to running on empty. 

“Don’t Stop Believin'" was released in 1981 and written by Journey’s main songwriter and keyboardist Jonathan Cain after his former band, The Babys broke up. After Babys’ main singer injured his leg on stage, the band disbanded. Jonathan was discouraged and unemployed, so he made a long-distance call to his dad.

Can you guess what Jonathon’s dad’s words to him were? “Don’t stop believin.’ Jonathan wrote down those words in his notebook. Eventually, Steve Perry would help Jonathon add more lyrics, and the rest is history.

“We loved this idea of two young people dreaming about leaving their town and going somewhere to make a new start,” Steve said. “So we began our song with our two characters and put them in motion.”

First to Eleven’s cover is a wonderful nod to Journey. It’s an incredible song that will always have a place in music fans' hearts.

Jordan McCullough’s Bonnie Raitt cover of “I Can’t Make You Love Me” is full of emotion. 

His voice exquisitely matches the song's feeling as the lyrics change. Some of the lyrics to “I Can’t Make You Love Me” are:

It’s a tough song to sing, not just because of the vocal skills one has to possess in order to sing it, but also because it is so emotionally heavy. The song is all about unrequited love, and the pain of knowing that sometimes, deep feelings aren’t shared by those you love. 

The song was written in 1989 by Mike Reid and Allen Shamblin, who were inspired by a story he saw in The Tennessean newspaper about “street drunks.” One of the people who was interviewed said his wife divorced him because of his alcoholism. He said, “You can’t make a… woman love you if she don’t.” Little did he know Shamblin would eventually steal his quote for a love song. 

Like Bonnie Raitt, when you hear Jordan sing the song, all you can do is listen to the beauty of his voice. Jordan McCullough is the perfect person to sing this Bonnie Raitt cover; of that I am convinced. He has the depth and range of a true star.
